Yesterday with Howard and Sandy

Yesterday I fished with my good friend Howard Davis. Guiding us was Captain Sandy Horn.

Our day started with high expectations that were quickly superseded by the desire of the wind to blow us off the water. Sany worked hard in tough conditions to get us a single quasi-shot, and even after a few different approaches (all down wind, or at best holding in to it) we elected to call it a day. It didn’t appear that the fish were much happier than us, given the complete lack of them.

I’m off the water for a week, though I may sneak out of the shop and give it a shot.
