The Angling Company has been outfitting and getting anglers on the water in Key West and the Lower Florida Keys since 2009. Whether you’re booking a world-class saltwater guide, taking your first fly casting lesson, or building out your kit at our fly shop, our team of IGFA world record holders, tournament champions, and passionate anglers is here to help.
Fly Casting Lessons
Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced caster looking to work through a specific issue, The Angling Company can help. Nathaniel’s instruction covers everything from foundational skills — loop formation, distance, and accuracy — to presenting a proper back cast. You’ll leave each lesson with specific, actionable adjustments and a clear path forward.
Your instructor: Nathaniel Linville — Tournament-Winning Angler, IGFA World Record Holder, Knot Innovator, and Community Leader with 25+ years of saltwater fly-fishing experience.
- Skill Levels: Beginner through advanced

Guided Fishing Trips
Every guide in our network is personally vetted by The Angling Company staff. We recommend only fully licensed captains we know and trust.
- Species: Tarpon, bonefish, permit, barracuda, and more
- Trip Types: Fly or spin/conventional fishing on the flats of the Lower Keys
- Trip Lengths: Half day (4 hrs), ¾ day (6 hrs), or full day (8 hrs)
- What’s Included: Gear and tackle (though you’re welcome to bring your own), flies, fishing license, and water
- What to Bring: Sunscreen, polarized sunglasses, UPF clothing, neck gaiter, hat, and anything to eat or drink beyond water
- Price Range: Starting at $650 for 1–2 anglers
