The Angling Company would like to congratulate Captain Rob Fordyce and his angler Tony Nobregas for their decisive victory in the 20112 Del Brown Permit Tournament. Rob and Tony caught a big fish on the first day, a 28 inch fish that put them in the lead. No fish were caught on the second day, and Rob and Tony caught the only permit on day 3–a smaller fish that secured their victory. They also won the bonefish division with a release at 10:56 AM, winning on time. As their first fish was biggest they also won the biggest permit award, and as if all that wasn’t enough Rob Fordyce also won the Yeti Cooler raffle after the awards ceremony.

Congratulations are also in order for Captain Don Gable and his anger Mike Ward of Helena, MT, who secured the runner-up trophy with their permit release on day one.

Obviously, as always, hats off to the winning teams.
