No photos from Monday’s adventure yet, so an inshore reprot will have to suffice.
The weather is beautiful, but the wind is keeping the fishing difficult. I have heard of a number of great captures; mostly tarpon on the flats as well as permit and bonefish. The fishing is great, and we are all looking forward to a great week coming up: Sunday 13 March is a party at the shop preceding the Fly Fishing Film Tour, the 14 is a pre-fish day and captain’s meeting for the March Merkin, and the March Merkin begins at 8:00 AM on 15 March, through the 17.
