Kapusta Reels

Kapusta Reels

This is typically a fishing only place, though when interesting things come along I am happy to share them as well. While I’m hesitant to use this space to push product, I’m excited about our new relationship with Tom Kapusta and the reels he has made for us in the shop. We have a matched set of three reels for sale in the shop, though as always if you want to get a Kapusta the porting, sizing, and finish options are totally customizable.

Tom put together a set of three reels for us, sized for bonefish, permit and tarpon. In diameter they are are 3.87, 4.5, and 5.25 inches respectively. One could purchase the set or any of them individually. They feature a porting that Tom came up with for these reels only, as well as a beautiful type III anodized finish that gives them a classy but functional stealth look.

In keeping with the low-key anti-facebook aesthetic, they are not marked in any way and bear no names or engraving on the outside. Even the counterbalance is matte-finished to keep with the murdered out look of the reels.

These reels are for sale, and they cost between 850 and 1050 dollars. Tom will personally service them for the remainder of his lifetime, which (we all hope) will be a very long time.

If you’re interested, call the shop or send us an email through our contact page.

Here’s what they look like:
