On the flats

I haven’t been fishing since last week’s shark trip. While satisfying at the time, I’m about ready to get out there once again.
I had an opportunity to fish today with Justin Rea offshore for blackfin tuna, though I was unable to attend due to obligations at the shop. We have tentatively planned to get out in the beginning of next week for an offshore trip–from what I hear, it’s getting pretty good out there.
I’ve heard reports about the permit showing up good inshore, and the jacks and sharks remain in full effect on the flats. Aaron sent us this photo:
