Description: Production models of the 8400 series began with SN 9000, and the serial number of this reel (8000) marks it as one of the first production prototypes. Fully functional, this was Jack’s personal 8400 .8, one of a matched set of reels that he produced for himself and Judy in 1999. Like all the Signature Series 8400 models, this reel features a carbon fiber drag and a ¼” drive. This is a perfect example of the 8400 .8, one of the rarest carbon fiber Charltons made, and ships in its original blue Charlton bag.
