Windy Windy/tarpon/bonefish

Windy Windy/tarpon/bonefish

The wind keeps blowing, and it looks like the fishing is starting to feel the effects. That said, the fishing is still happening and tarpon are beginning to run the ocean–great news for all of us waiting for our first shots at the inevitable hordes of fish that roll by us every year.
The wind is forecasted to continue it’s business until Monday, though it may not be below 10 knots until Tuesday. I have three days scheduled with Captain Aaron Snell next weekend to continue our 3 kg (6 lb) tippet tarpon record pursuit.
The bonefish are still around, and plenty of anglers are reeling them in.
More to follow,

Best,

NCL
