Current Conditions, fishing yesterday

This will be a short report, mostly due to the fact that I had written a longer draft that was deleted and I don’t have time to rewrite it.

 

On Monday I fished with John and Ted, and we had 8 bites from fish ranging in size from 40-100 pounds, and the next day Ted fished with John solo and they had even better fishing.

After the weather turned later in the week, I went out with John and Ted yesterday for a final pre fish day leading up to the Gold Cup. We had two bites on a few shots in the clouds, and neither stayed connected.

Tomorrow I’m in Islamorada, and the Gold Cup starts Monday. I’ll furnish a report when the smoke settles.
