Fishing tomorrow in the Everglades
Fishing tomorrow in the Everglades
/October 11, 2011
This afternoon, Aaron and I will drive to Islamorada. We will get a hotel room, tour the dark taverns, and eat fried food. Tomorrow we will wake up early, meet Andy at the ramp. We will run to the Everglades as the sun is rising, and it will be warm. There won’t be much wind, and we will find large tarpon sliding in hardly any water. We will have fly rods, flies, and plenty of 6 lb tippet.
Of that much I am relatively sure; it’s what comes next that I can’t wait to find out.
The lights are going to be lit; we know that.
Here’s to what happens when they are.
