more tarpon

Yesterday I was generously invited to join a friend of mine for a day fishing with Captain Doug Kilptarick. The fish were hard to find due to the cloud cover, but we managed to eke out a bite from a smaller fish to prevent pulling a blank.
We found a pair of bonefish and had a good shot at them, though I was unable to get a grab. As the sky became more cloudy we headed home a bit early. Back to the shop for the evening shift.
Tomorrow night I’m headed to Summerland for two days with John O’Hearn (still looking for the six) and potential fishing in the evening with Bruce Chard.
