Stan Bogdan

On 27 March, 2011, Stanley Edward Bogdan passed away in Nashua, New Hampshire. His company, S. E. Bogdan Custom Built, is responsible for making salmon and trout reels of startling ingenuity, style, and function. The Angling Company would like to extend our condolences to his family, and express our joy for a life well lived. His contributions, both to the sport of fly fishing and to the art of reel making, continue to inspire anglers to hold themselves to the highest standard of personal and professional conduct–both on and off the water.
Stanley is survived by his son, Stephen, of Nashua, N.H. as well as his daughter, Cheryl Doughty, of Palm Bay, Fla.
