Superfly results/report

Yesterday, Cal Collier, Jr. and Captain Justin Rea won the Superfly with a total of 2 bonefish, 2 tarpon, and a permit to round out the slam. Second place went to Mo Smith, fishing with Captain Mark Krowka, who landed two tarpon and three (yup, 3!) permit on fly. The Angling Company would like to congratulate the winning team and the runner up for their great days on the water!
I caught a few bonefish (2), and had some incredible opportunities for permit, but couldn’t seal the deal. Here are a few pictures, tying flies and of bonefish:

The weather was incredible for the days of and preceding the tournament, and the boats are out there at the moment fishing in the SLAM. Thanks again to Gary at Redone and everyone invlolved for such a great tournament!
