Tarpon fishing

The tarpon fishing is still approaching incredible; by most accounts, however, it is already there. I had the opportunity to speak with a number of captains over the last few days, and they all seem to say the same thing: it’s good out there!

but it’s the tarpon that are getting the most press right now:

As for permit, Captain Bryan Holeman has this to report: there are a lot of fish in large schools, likely in anticipation of their annual pilgrimage offshore to breed.
Now is the time, surely, to get down here!
