The other day / this morning / upcoming

A few days ago I went out with Aaron Snell for a few hours. I poled Aaron to a great couple permit shots, though the fish didn’t want to take part. In four hours of fishing I would say we had maybe a dozen and a half good shots at the tails before we called it a day.

Last night my good friend Michael Hetzel arrived from the Northcountry. If you keep up with these reports you might remember Michael from last year’s Belize trip, where together we caught a rare double-slam on our last day of fishing with Eworth Garbutt. This morning we took a look up the Keys at a small spot I sometimes fish. We had a lot of shots at small snook and tarpon, and I caught one of each.

Day after tomorrow Kat and I leave for Belize to fish with Eworth, and we will take pictures and provide a full write up when we get back.
