Tuna offshore with Chris Trosset

Two days ago I went fishing with Chris Trosset. Our target was blackfin tuna, and we found them in good numbers.
After a longer-than-average search for bait, we arrived at the spot an hour before sunset and were in tuna the entire time. I hooked three on fly, losing every one to the sharks. Chris caught a couple on gear, and one on a fly rod (though not a fly, as we was testing a prototype reel and hooked one on a pilchard).
We brought three home to eat, and enjoyed our time out there.

Saturday I leave for New York for a week. When I return, there is a plan afoot to go to Louisiana chasing redfish. If that happens I will certainly furnish a report.
