Update on the six

Update on the six

So it’s 11:14 PM, and I am just about to get to bed for another day on the water tomorrow. Our fishing today was defined by tough wind (though not as bad as the last few weeks, and slated to drop even more tomorrow) as well as cloud cover; both, it seemed, conspired to prevent more than two shots that I would call reasonable. Despite this, we did jump a small fish and get some good jumps before securing a “release” leader-in-rod-tip and pulling the hook, all on six pound tippet.
From a few days ago: Michael Driscoll, an old and great friend, visited for a couple of days and spent two of them fishing with Captain Lenny Leonard. Despite the tougher than average conditions, he managed to feed a large lead fish from a school and sent me a few photographs. Below are a few; enjoy!

Good luck to all anglers out there working at it; we appreciate your commitment. Tomorrow we fish again, and I will certainly provide a report.

Regards,

Nathaniel/TAC
